Having formed in 2007, the band “Derogatory” has been playing at popular clubs and venues in Savannah GA and the surrounding area. Derogatory focuses on playing accurate covers of popular rock and alternative from the 90′s as well as current rock with a mix of some timeless classics. With an energetic performance and a good sense of humor. Derogatory is sure to entertain a wide range of audiences. Roy Swindelle

Roy Swindelle started out as a boy king but grew bored with the perks! He started playing drums in 1958 in the Savannah Drum and Bugle Corp, at age 7. He joined his first band “The Roots Of Evil” in 1964 and never looked back! In 1975 he bought a bass guitar and became a bassist and he began playing guitar in the early 80′s. Roy has been the house musician at Doc’s for the last 6 years and has written many songs. “Bend Me Over Buccaneer”, is a true pirate favorite! In the last 2 years he has learned to play the Steel Drum and now is thinking of going back and being a King again.

Georgia Kyle Trio

“Georgia” Kyle Shiver is a native of Albany Georgia, and with the exception of a few years up north, (where he earned the nick-name “Georgia”) has lived in this great state for a majority of his life. At an early age Kyle would request toy guitars, and by the age of 8 he took his first lesson. The rest is history! Kyle did play football for a few years, worked in radio, and in retail, but the music always called him. While living in Atlanta in the early 1990’s, he began his proffessional career, working a retail job during the day and playing music at night. Over the years he “just stopped going to the day job”. Kyle considers himself to be the most blessed guy in the world! He has played music everywhere this side of the Mississippi River and opened shows and shared stages with some of the worlds biggest and most respected musicians. After moving to Savannah in 2002, Kyle began to play around town and soon stopped going on the road because “there were so many gigs and musicians to play with right here in Savannah”. Kyle currently has an electric blues band as well as a more traditional bluegrass band. He performs regularly in venues all around the Savannah area with his bands and also as a solo act. You are always sure to hear Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker Band, Muddy Waters, Precious Bryant, and the Allman Brothers, as Kyle pays homage to the music he grew up with. When not on stage, Kyle spends his time painting(he is a visual artist too), and playing with his wife Heather, daughter Lily, and dog Clarabelle. Savannah Steve is a talented musician, having performed keyboards, guitar and vocals with several professional bands in the New York tri-state region since 1976. Around 1990, Stephen decided he’d had enough of NY and traded his black leather look for a cleaner, gentler Southern lifestyle of flip flops and Hawaiian shirts. Now, after 20 years of dedicated service, Savannah Steve has undoubtedly become the top choice of entertainers here in the Low Country! Those who know him from the palm studded Georgia beaches appreciate his breezy live renditions of your favorite Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Beach Boys, Sinatra and SO much more.
Debi Burk Scott is an amazing entertainer who discovered her love for the stage very early in life. Before moving to Georgia in the late 1980s, she performed in New York with many different artists and in a variety of different theatrical productions. One of her favorite memories of this time is working with the Sal Cannavo Band where she not only performed as herself but created different singing characters to entertain her audiences. This dynamic performer sang more jazz standards and blues after her move to Georgia and could frequently be seen in Savannah belting out tunes with bassist Ben Harper and keyboardist Mojo Davis. They played in several venues including the Desoto Hilton and Hard Hearted Hannah’s nightclub. 1996 saw Ms. Scott in the UK traveling with “the living voice of Al Jolson,” Clive Baldwin. Going by the stage name “Georgia Dean” she toured all throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland in the production ‘Give My Regards to Jolson.’ Though she treasures her experiences overseas, everyone is happy to have Debi back home in Savannah singing for friends both old and new! www.savannahsteve.com ~ www.debiscott.com

The Savannah Low country is fast becoming a hotbed for some of Georgia’s best up and coming young rock bands. WormsLoew, behind the honest lyrics and strong vocals of Andrew Gill and Matt Wesley, is one such band. For the past three years these artists have been honing their sound; writing and playing with the determination, conviction, and desperation that only a young band screaming to be heard possess. Their music is melodic and catchy, touching on pop, rock, alt, and even a little jamband. Their sound is fresh with virility and possibilities. Just take a listen to Scared or Hold Me Down from the newly released debut CD One Of These Days, which has received some moderate airplay in the southeast. Wormsloew is Andrew Gill- vocals, guitar, Matt Wesley- vocals, guitar, keyboards, mandolin, Steve Garard- lead guitar, Chad Norris- bass, and Joseph Wilson- Drums. The band has shared the stage with Drivin’ & Cryin’, Jupiter Coyote, and Stewart & Winfield to name a few. They have also played Savannah’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival (second largest one in the country), The Ogeechee Seafood Festival, as well as performed on the charitable Rock the Cure, musicians against diabetes concert. Local reviewers have been “blown away” by the band’s live shows , and the Wrecks have been officially dubbed “The Hardest Gigging Band in Savannah”, a testament to the love and dedication they have for their music. The band recently completed the recording of their debut CD “Whiskey & War”, and released it in the fall of 2007. The reviews rolled in!
