The Pirates Charles

The Pirates Charles are a krewe of crazed scallywags here to rock your very existence to the core. Armed with cutlasses dripping rum, epic tales of the sea and its many heroes and villains. They will pillage your mind and leave you bewildered and compelled to drop your entire existence and join us on our adventures and become a pirate as well. The history of The Pirates Charles is a rich and adventurous tale. It all started fatefully, when Captain Diggity and the krewe began writing songs and entertaining the idea of forming a pirate band the likes of which the world has never seen. The songs came swiftly and without mercy. The Pirates Charles continues to enamor new fans anywhere they go, whether it be at their home venue, or local pirate festivals. But parents be warned The Pirates Charles aren’t quite your five-year-old’s PG-rated pirate band. In addition to the obvious plundering and sacking, The Pirates Charles have been known to use bawdy language (oh no!), rock like it’s both 1777 and 1977, and sing romantic ballads about their favorite prostitutes on Cat Island. So while they may not be appropriate for the kids, adults young and old may take delight in knowing that there’s a salty pirate rock band for them. www.thepiratescharles.com
